As a Volunteer Tin Coordinator, you’ll place, collect and keep track of charity tins in local spots to help raise vital funds for our vital work at Llamau.
Key Activities
- Place and collect collection tins in local shops and businesses
- Raise awareness of the support Llamau offer in your area and where to access our resources
- Keep a log of tin collections and collection dates
- Build relationships with local supporters
- Count and deposit the donations and ensure all require paperwork is completed
- Support with any additional related tasks
What experience, skills and qualities do I need?
- You’ll be a confident communicator and be comfortable engaging with local businesses
- You’re passionate about fundraising and raising awareness of Llamau’s services
- Enthusiastic, well organised and able to take initiative
- Comfortable handling donations, managing cash responsibly and maintaining records
- Basic IT skills are desirable

What we need from you
- Provide us with two professional or character references
- Adhere to our Volunteering Code of Conduct
- Understanding of Llamau’s Mission
- To complete all relevant training for the volunteer role
Time Commitment
- This volunteer role offers flexible hours and can fit around your other commitments
- You can approach venues and network within the local community
- We ask that you can offer 6-8 hours per work to this volunteer role
