As a Volunteer Tin Coordinator, you’ll place, collect and keep track of charity tins in local spots to help raise vital funds for our vital work at Llamau.

Key Activities

  • Place and collect collection tins in local shops and businesses
  • Raise awareness of the support Llamau offer in your area and where to access our resources
  • Keep a log of tin collections and collection dates
  • Build relationships with local supporters
  • Count and deposit the donations and ensure all require paperwork is completed
  • Support with any additional related tasks

What experience, skills and qualities do I need?

  • You’ll be a confident communicator and be comfortable engaging with local businesses
  • You’re passionate about fundraising and raising awareness of Llamau’s services
  • Enthusiastic, well organised and able to take initiative
  • Comfortable handling donations, managing cash responsibly and maintaining records
  • Basic IT skills are desirable

What we need from you

  • Provide us with two professional or character references
  • Adhere to our Volunteering Code of Conduct
  • Understanding of Llamau’s Mission
  • To complete all relevant training for the volunteer role

Time Commitment

  • This volunteer role offers flexible hours and can fit around your other commitments
  • You can approach venues and network within the local community
  • We ask that you can offer 6-8 hours per work to this volunteer role

  • DBS Checks are required for certain roles
