"Hi, I'm Mel, I've been a Wellbeing Coordinator at Interlink since January 2020, becoming Team Leader April 2025.
Recently I have taken on the role as Befriending Champion supporting those experiencing isolation and loneliness.
Befriending not only impacts the lives of the recipient but also those providing the service. Often befrienders are volunteers so as champion I am keen to work with organisations offering the service as well as supporting individuals in the community."
At Interlink RCT, our wellbeing coordinators are here to help people across Rhondda Cynon Taf with their health and wellbeing.
We take the time to understand what matters most to you. We can offer advice, listen to your concerns and connect you with the local activities, groups and services that support your emotional and practical needs.
