Brothers In Arms Cymru are a men's mental health group who meet every Wednesday at 6pm until 8pm at the "little shed" 97b lower Dunraven street. Tonypandy. CF40 1AR.

We use various indoor and outdoor activities to help promote health and wellbeing for men who suffer or has suffered from depression, anxiety, PTST, ADHD or any other form of mental health.

What things do you do?

We use various activities such as darts - table football - air hockey - indoor golf as well as table games.

How does this work?

Each person is different, but everyone that attends will have the use of all activities on offer.

How does this help?

We find that interaction with other group members through using any of the activities often result in men opening up, which in turns builds the confidence to express how they have  been / or are feeling.

Can attending the group help with my depression / Anxiety?

What we can say for sure is attending any group sessions you will meet like minded people who have or had some degree of mental health in their lifetime, and being part of this group could help you understand that your not alone and that "it's good to talk"

Do I have to attend every session?

No, there is no commitment at all, we offer a safe place for you and that is there for whenever you want.

Do I have to register or make an appointment?

You do not need to register or make an appointment to come to the group. All we ask you to do is to sign in on a visitor and fire safety book. (You do not have to give your full name.

Do I need to give any contact details?

You do not need to give any personal details unless your comfortable in doing so. Any personal details will be confidential
