Help us raise vital funds by supporting the Fundraising team in your local community, representing Llamau at our events, bucket collections and cheer support.
Key Activities
- Help with event setup, running registration stands, cheer support, logistics and cleanup.
- Represent Llamau during events, providing information to attendees and participants
- Raise funds for Llamau at various events and within your local community for example community centres and supermarkets to raise awareness of the support we offer young people and women throughout Wales.
- Consult with the fundraising team to collect materials for your community activities.
- Share our campaigns and promotional material online and in person.
- Reach out to your local community groups to coordinate bucket collections and awareness raising information stands.
What experience, skills and qualities do I need?
- You’re passionate about fundraising and raising awareness of Llamau’s services
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to take on different tasks
- You’ll be comfortable supporting participants at our events
- You enjoy working in a team
- Basic IT skills are desirable
- Motivated & Approachable

What we need from you
- Provide us with two professional or character references
- Adhere to our Volunteering Code of Conduct
- Understanding of Llamau’s Mission
- To complete all relevant training for the volunteer role
Time Commitment
- This volunteer role offers flexible hours and can fit around your other commitments.
- You can approach venues and encourage others to join your collection at times that suit you
- Due to our events schedule this may involve evenings and weekends.
