Calling all creative young people aged 11–16
Have you ever wanted to tell your story through art, photography, collage or creative writing?
Voices on Paper is a FREE Arts Council of Wales funded creative project where young people will explore their identity, dreams and ideas while creating their very own handmade mini magazine (zine).
Over four inspiring workshops, participants will work alongside award-winning creative practitioner Mab Jones to learn new artistic techniques, build confidence and express themselves in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment.
During the programme, participants will:
🎨 Explore collage, printing, stencils, illustration and dot art
📷 Experiment with photography and visual storytelling
✍️ Write about their ideas, hopes and experiences
📖 Design and create their own handmade zine
🤝 Make new friends and work creatively with others
🌟 Build confidence and celebrate their unique voice
No previous art or creative writing experience is needed.
