Join us in person for the RCT Climate Action Network Meeting Q1 2026 to spark ideas and drive real change!
RCT Climate Action Network Meeting – Building Resilient Communities
Join us for the next RCT Climate Action Network Meeting at The Vision Hut, Ynysybwl, bringing together community groups, organisations and individuals working towards a more resilient, low-carbon Rhondda Cynon Taf.
This session will combine storytelling, reflection and practical updates from across the network. We’ll begin with a screening of The Coal Beneath Our Feet, The Wind Above Our Heads by Jeremy Clancy, followed by a Q&A with Beth Winters, exploring themes of community, energy, place and local responses to climate change.
The meeting will also build on our previous Building Resilient Communities session, with updates from groups supported through the Micro Project Grant funding, sharing learning, progress and next steps.
As always, there will be dedicated time to network, exchange ideas and connect with others working across RCT on climate action, resilience and community wellbeing.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
🌱 Supporting the local community
While attending, we’d love to invite you to pop into the Ynysybwl Regeneration Partnership charity shop, located nearby. If you’re able to, please consider bringing along any donations to support their work in the community.
