The RCT Climate Action Network brings together community groups, volunteers, public bodies, organisations, and individuals who are working towards a more sustainable and climate-resilient Rhondda Cynon Taf.
The network exists to connect people, share knowledge and good practice, and encourage collaboration around climate action across the county borough. Through regular meetings, partnerships and shared learning opportunities, we support members to develop projects, strengthen local resilience and respond collectively to the challenges of climate change.
Our work spans a wide range of themes including sustainable food, community buildings and energy, climate education and carbon literacy, biodiversity, wellbeing and community engagement. We also work to amplify local voices, identify opportunities for joint working and support the development of practical climate solutions that benefit communities across RCT.
The network meets quarterly and participation is free and open to anyone with an interest in climate action in RCT.
Whether you are part of a community group, voluntary organisation, public service, local business, or simply interested in getting involved, we would love to connect with you.
