We have a different way of delivering services as we physically go in to our communities where there is the greatest need.
Samaritans' vision is that fewer people die by suicide.
We do this by
- Providing emotional support, both on our national telephone lines but also directly in our communities.
- Raising Awareness of the importance of reducing suicide and what you can do to help
- Support Help-Seeking by sharing expertise and understanding the needs of people who contact us.
- Learning and Development with free resources and educational and work-based workshops.
Our organisation is lead by over 20,000 volunteers, all fully trained and supported and always valued.
