Monthly litter pick and community events

We are a small group that show a keen interest in keeping where we live clean. Not just the streets but the beautiful countryside that surrounds us here in Beddau and Tynant.

We arrange monthly litterpicks as well as monthly car boot sales at Tynant Garage. Litter picks are free to join, all equipment is provided.

Car boot is £5 a car and £8 a van. This can be booked by dropping me an email and I will send the bank details to pay via bank transfer.

We hold our annual summer fair, which is on Sunday September 1st this year up on the car park of Beddau Community Centre car park. Fantastic event last year. Lots of stalls, fair rides, food, drink, bouncy castles. All you would need for a good afternoon of pocket friendly family fun.

Halloween costume swap shop event. Usually 2 weeks before Halloween. Costumes can be expensive and lots end up in landfill. So to try and get them reused we thought we would give this a try. This is held in the library along with arts and crafts. Date to be confirmed.

Christmas light switch on event at Beddau library, usually the last weekend in November. Come meet Santa in his grotto, grab some last minute gifts, get some gorgeous tasting sweet treats from local traders, sing some carols. Christmas crafts. Just a fun enjoyable event for all
