Glo i Natur CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to transforming former coal spoil sites in the South Wales Valleys into thriving habitats for wildlife and accessible green spaces for local people. We work to protect, restore, and enhance biodiversity on these unique post‑industrial landscapes, safeguarding threatened species and improving habitat quality through practical conservation, ecological surveying, research, and habitat management. Our services also include community engagement, nature‑based education, guided walks, workshops, and heritage interpretation that connect people of all ages to nature and the cultural history of the Valleys. By celebrating both biodiversity and industrial heritage, we help communities reconnect with local landscapes, promote well‑being, and inspire sustained environmental stewardship.
