RCT Work and Skills integrates the WG Funded Communities for Work Plus programme and the UK Government Funded SPF People and Skills team
Enabling RCT Work and Skills to offer a holistic offer of support to anyone who is looking to upskill, make changes to their future, train or support with gaining a job.

Who can we help?

We’re in a fortunate position to be able to support anyone living in RCT regardless of their circumstance and postcode, meaning we can offer support to:

Individuals wanting to develop life skills such as ICT, Maths, English and lot more community-based learning.
Individuals wanting to get into work, that require support to upskill or help enter employment.
Individuals working, who feel they are under-employed, helping employees to upskill to achieve a more sustainable contract or increase in pay.
Individuals looking for volunteer opportunities

Who are we?

Our staff are based in the community and individuals are assigned support from a staff member with local knowledge of the area in terms of local jobs, training opportunities and community learning – meeting individuals in locations that are convenient to them.

How can we help?

Group Support – Increasing confidence, reducing isolation, community based learning.
Tailored Mentoring Support for all customer groups, providing individualised support given by a mentor at a pace to suit the individual. Will include support to build confidence, life skills, identify career paths, accessing training, job search, job applications, interview techniques.
Accredited and Sector Approved Training, i.e. Construction, Child Care, Security, Hospitality and much more
