Thursday 13th March we are at Cosmeston Lakes and Country Park. This is a public country park and in 2013 it was designated a Local Nature Reserve. There are two large lakes divided by a bridge covering over a 100 hectares of water. There are swans, mallards and various water fowl. There is a lovely loop around the park and a cafe with picnic benches. The loop is approximately a mile. This is a level 3 on our Marauders Scale.
