Could you help someone gain confidence online?
Mental Health Matters Wales is looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to become Digital Well-being Champions.
As a Digital Well-being Champion, you will help people build confidence using smartphones, tablets and computers, enabling them to access services, stay connected and improve their wellbeing.
You do not need to be a technical expert. If you are comfortable using email, the internet and everyday apps, we can provide the training and support you need.
Training and ongoing support are provided through our partnership with Cwmpas, alongside induction, safeguarding and data protection training .
What could you help with?
- Using smartphones, tablets and laptops.
- Setting up email accounts.
- Accessing NHS and other online services.
- Staying safe online.
- Building confidence and digital skills.
- Supporting drop-ins and workshops.
- Helping reduce social isolation.

Flexible volunteering opportunities are available, with a typical commitment of around 1–3 hours per week
