Childcare & Adult Services
Llanharan Community Development Project is a community-focused charity that has been supporting local people since 1996. Based in the heart of Llanharan, we work across Llanharan, Brynna, Bryncae, Llanilid and surrounding communities to provide inclusive services that support children, young people, adults and families. At LCDP, we believe community is for everyone. Our work is built around creating opportunities, reducing isolation, supporting wellbeing and helping people feel connected to the place where they live. From childcare and youth provision to adult wellbeing groups, holiday activities and environmental projects, our services are designed to respond directly to the needs of the local community. Each week, we support individuals of all ages through: *Childcare and early years provision *Youth and play services *Holiday clubs and family activities *Adult wellbeing and peer support groups *Community food support initiatives *Digital inclusion and learning opportunities *Environmental and outdoor wellbeing projects through our Eco-Hub and community garden We are proud to work in partnership with local organisations, volunteers, schools, funders and residents to strengthen community connections and create opportunities for people to thrive. As a not-for-profit organisation, every penny generated through our services is reinvested back into supporting local people and sustaining vital community provision. At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief. A strong community can be built when people feel connected, supported and valued.
