The main purpose of volunteering at Valleys Steps is to assist with the successful delivery and promotion of our aim of good mental health for all.
Below are just some of the ways that volunteers are able to become involved:
- Assist with our wellbeing courses in local community venues including outdoor activities.
- Support at various events throughout the year (e.g. The Big Bite, Student Fairs, Information Stands)
- Assist with online delivery of wellbeing sessions (full training given)
- Promote the charity and the benefits of attending sessions and workshops
- Write blogs, vlogs and any relevant articles that might be of interest
- Participate in meetings and focus groups to improve the quality of the service
Valleys Steps volunteers are an integral part of the Valleys Steps team and all contributions and constructive feedback is greatly valued.
Full training is given.
Any out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
