“FNF-Both Parents Matter Cymru” are looking for people to help support parents following separation and help them to maintain a relationship with their child/children.
Are you someone who likes to listen? Can you empathise with our service users who are going through some tough times?
All roles are primarily home-based and contact is via our virtual systems.
We are looking for:
Helpline Volunteers to take calls and collect initial data from callers
Outbound Callers, to gather information on our Service User Packs, to ensure we can fully understand their situation.
Emotional Support Buddy, maintaining contact by phone/text and you can also do this in-person in our face-to-face meetings and social events.
Requirements are:
- Be a good listener and be able to have empathy
- Be able to volunteer a minimum of four hours a week.
- Be able to question and record answers (for some roles).
- Have access to the internet.
- Respect client confidentiality and safeguarding for all concerned.
