About

Small but Fierce Independent gallery, studio and workshop. Exhibitions and events with world class creatives + community hands-on workshops

We are a creative community flourishing in the Rhondda. Led by artist workers we work with many world renowned artists and photographers including David Hurn, Kevin Sinnott and Martin Parr. We specilise in 4 areas: Art and Sport, Comics and Graphic Novels, Photography and Sculpture.

The gallery and studio space is housed in a simple 1 storey accessible building, on the high street in Ynyshir. The street has evolved and shifted with the people who choose to come and spend their precious time and money here. Next door we have an excellent gweithdy (workshop) specialising in sculpture in wood and furniture making. It was where the 2018 Eisteddfod Chair was made by resident artist Chris Williams

We remain a business at the heart of a flourishing creative community,
thriving on partnership working and collaborations.
We work alongside charities, local & national groups and schools to
host events, tour exhibitions and lead workshops in the gallery and beyond. If you would like to engage our artist and project management services - please get in touch to discuss your requirements and budget.

We make most local deliveries and exhibition tours via our
cargo e-bike.
We offer a free entry community drop-in creative space for visitors and we are a donation point for the Rhondda Foodbank.
We lead creative workshops specialising in drawing, photography, reminiscence & woodworking.
Our
community library of donated books and jigsaws is free for all to use. Our gallery spaces can be hired for exhibitions, special events, away days, meetings and events.
