We provide free mental health and wellbeing workshops in small communities in Wales.

The Ajuda Foundation promotes physical and mental health & wellbeing via our project, The Purple Sunflower Project. 

The Purple Sunflower Project will be running in Evanstown and Penrhiwceiber in 2024, and we will be offering a programme of 10 free mental health and wellbeing workshops in both communities. 

Workshops include: 

Level 1 Mental Health First Aid (accredited qualification; two sessions)
Mental Health First Aid for Younger People
An Introduction to Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health Awareness
Understanding Anxiety & Depression
Food & Wellbeing
Financial Wellbeing
Emotional Animal Support 
Craft, Conversation & Coffee
Rhythm Drumming
Dance & Biodanza
Yoga & Mindfulness
Creative Writing to Support Mental Health
Understanding Grief & Bereavement
Volunteering to Support Mental Health & Wellbeing
Community Mental Health & Wellbeing

All workshops are 100% free, and are funded by grants from various funders like the National Lottery's Awards for All Wales, and the Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust.
