Role Description - Back To Community Life Resilience Worker
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To escort clients that have been isolating out to the local community for shopping or collection of prescription
- To collect prescription by either visiting GP surgery, Pharmacists or collecting from the client home and taking to the Pharmacists
- To complete necessary paperwork to track the support provided
- To help people build their confidence so the patient/client has is able to shop or walk out themselves
- To follow safe distancing policy from government advice
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
- Compassion, empathy and a friendly manner
- A DBS check will be carried out, which we will pay for
- You will be taken through safeguarding and your responsibilities relating to working with older people when you start working with us
- You will follow Age Connects finance policy and when working with service users
Supporting the community of Cynon Valley and surrounding area
The service runs Sunday – Saturday 9am -5pm
We are seeking volunteers to be help people for a few hours between those
times – or whatever you can offer.
Mileage travel expenses will be paid
