This half day course will help you plan an engagement strategy, so that you know you’ve done everything you can to connect effectively. You’ll use a variety of participatory tools and activities to plan an engagement strategy with an action plan for engagement. The course will use the National Principles for Public Engagement in Wales as the basis for planning your strategy.
Learning outcomes: By the end of the course you will be able to:• Use the National Principles in creating an engagement strategy• Identify who you need to engage• Identify methods of engagement to be implemented in your strategy• Plan the timescale for a strategy and accompanying action plan

Engagement Officers, Managers, or others who need to engage with the public and who would like to develop a more systematic and strategic approach to public engagement.
How much does it cost?
The course is free for those who attend but there is a £25 charge for those who book but fail to attend or fail to give us 24 hours notice that they are unable to attend.
