You are invited to a Pop-Up Community Information session in Hawthorn Community Centre on Thursday 20th June from 1 until 4pm.
There will be information on everything from energy efficiency and saving money on heating bills, to hearing loss and dementia. Local groups will also be there talking about the fun activities they organise in the local area (see full list below). FREE hot and cold drinks and snacks will also be on offer so Pop-In to the Pop-Up!
In celebration of the Month of Community, Hawthorn Neighbourhood Watch have secured funding via the Interlink Small Grants Scheme to put on this event bringing local agencies together with local clubs and charities with the aim of connecting residents of all ages to useful local support.
Organisations that are attending include; Heat & Save, Citizen’s Advice, Big Energy Saving Network, The Alzheimer’s Society, Mother’s Matter, Pontypridd Art Group, SignSightSound, RCT Climate Action Network, Age Connects Morgannwg, Taff Ely 50+ forum, Communities for Work Plus, ITEC Training Solutions, Local Churches, RCT Dieticians, Trivallis Housing Association, Pontypridd Town Council, Local Police Team, Interlink and RCT Neighbourhood Network.
