Pontypridd Town Council and its's volunteers wants to create a safe and welcoming place where people from all walks of life can come and enjoy the benefits of nature, home grown produce and have opportunities to share and learn new skills. To be able to create this place we need the support of the local community and volunteers, to keep it maintained and available to all.
During sessions we do a variety of gardening tasks - from digging and weeding to sowing and planting. We learn and practise gardening skills as we go along. At the end of each session we harvest some crops to take home with us. There is also a pond and woodland area that needs maintence and some loving care.
Plenty to do at Meados Street community and a job for everyone, from making tea to paintinig toilets. Dont worry if you are not a keen gardener, there is plenty of other jobs!
Everyone is welcome, be part of something special and join us on the adventure.
Every Saturday from 10am - 12.30, children over 7 with adult supervision is welcome.
