Tech and Tea drop in
Age Connects Morgannwg aims to develop Tech and Tea drop in sessions, within RCT, working together with other charities and venues. The drop in will be run by volunteers and provide digital support through a 12 week programme. The drop in would enable older people in the area to learn about a variety of technology and how this technology can support their independent living for as long as possible
Technology within housebound services
Age connect Morgannwg provide support people in their own homes. The aim of the services is to support people to live independently within their own homes for as long as possible. Technology can play a vital role in achieving this. This project will provide training and kit to staff and volunteers that work with individuals in their own homes. they would be able to support people to use the internet to shop online, contact family and friends and access other important services through a 12 week 1 x week service to maximise learning in a way that the person needs.
