Brynawel Rehab is situated on Llanharry Road, between Llanharan and Llanharry. We offer residential support for people facing addiction and mental health problems. We are looking for volunteers to join our part time gardener, existing volunteers and Horticultural Therapist. It doesnt matter if you aren't a seasoned gardener. We can teach you from scratch! Sewing seeds, growing cuttings, cultivating and harvesting veg.........
We have 6 acres and a range of gardening activities, from a kitchen garden, to growing plants for local sale, willow weaving and allotments.
We are looking for volunteers to work with our part time gardener, 2 existing volunteers and Horticultural Therapist in developing the site.
If you have an afternoon or morning free we would love to hear from you. We offer induction, training and ongoing support. We have regular get togethers with tea, coffee and cake. Volunteers also have a free lunch. We are a committed and cheerful bunch and you’ll be guaranteed great company and good fun
