“What got me into the world of art was both a long-standing interest and admiration for creativity as well as the realisation that art could help people to develop or heal." - Helen Hughes
After a short break we are excited to confirm that Creative Conversations is back! We took to Zoom in 2020 and heard from so many amazing artists - we very much enjoyed this online space for artists to meet, share their practice, discuss and support each other's health and wellbeing.
In this month's Creative Conversations we will hear from 2 artists that have been an inspiration over the past year. Helen Hughes, Creative and Therapeutic Practitioner, and Anna Billes an Inclusive facilitator of the arts, will talk us through the importance of volunteering and the impact it has had on them personally and on the community. Following the speakers we will then open up the conversation to the room to discuss further.
"As a child, I grew up in a very close-knit community where I was nurtured by my family, and local people who were predominantly of an older generation. This foundation has naturally supported me to seek and create communities wherever I work as I feel most at home when connecting with others." - Anna Billes
If you would like to join us for this session please book your free place now - we would love to see you whether you want to just watch and listen or join in the chat.
