In 2021, my life changed forever when I suffered a stroke. I was told I might never walk unaided again. But I had other plans.

Now, with determination, grit, and the support of Let’s Talk Men’s Mental Health, I am taking on Pen-y-Fan, the highest peak in South Wales — to show that life after stroke still holds purpose, strength, and hope.

This climb isn’t just about reaching the top.

It’s about raising awareness, inspiring recovery, and supporting others facing life after stroke and mental health struggles.

I am raising funds for two vital causes:

🧠 Stroke Association – helping survivors rebuild their lives

🗣️ Let’s Talk Men’s Mental Health – providing community, connection and support for men across the UK

Please give what you can — and help prove that even after the toughest moments, brighter days are possible.

Every step counts. Every donation matters.

You can join us on the day if you'd like to be a part of the event. Drop us a message for more details around required kit (correct shoes, coat etc), what time we will meet, what time and what time we head off.

If you would like to donate you can also donate here: https://tinyurl.com/4kbb6tp5

🙏 Thank you.
