Rhondda Radio is a community radio station based in Treorchy broadcasting on FM to the Rhondda Fawr on 106.1FM and to the Rhondda Fach on 97.5FM, We also broadcast on our very own App that's available to download via apple and Android devices, Smartspeakers and through our website www.rhonddaradio.com

Trading as a non profit community radio station, run entirely by volunteers and managed and overseen by an elected board of directors and management team. We are licensed by PPL and PRS to broadcast recorded music. Rhondda Radio operates an equal opportunities and diversity programme. However, due to our location wheelchair access is not currently available. Rhondda Radio is supported by grants & funding from the following companies/Organisations including, The National Lottery, Trivallis, Coalfields and  Pen-Y-Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund. The fund has been established by energy company  Vattenfall for the benefit of communities hosting the Pen-Y-Cymoedd wind farm.
