A Community Food Waste Initiative
Penderyn Village Pantry is under the management of the Penderyn Community Centre, which is a registered charity.
The Pantry is a Community Food Waste Initiative. Our hardworking team of staff and volunteers collect donated surplus food from various shops in Aberdare, Hirwaun and Glynneath.
Our donated blue container is open 7 days a week where the food is made available not only to those in Penderyn but also to the much wider community. The Pantry provides emergency parcels for those in particular need.
