Cwm Taf Care & Repair is a not for profit organisation that is funded by Welsh Government, Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, Cynon Taf Community Housing Group.

Our role is to provide a free support and advice service for older and disabled people to allow them to remain in their own homes with greater independence, warmth, security and safety.

We have an experienced team of Case Officers that will visit you in your own home and complete a Healthy Homes check. We will provide advice on home repairs, aids & adaptations, benefit advice, energy advice and safety concerns amongst numerous other services available locally.

We have a team of Technical Officers who work across Cwm Taf who will identify works required, liaise with local contractors and support you whilst building works are on site. All works will be signed off as satisfactory by both the Technical Officer and the client.

Our agency maintains a list of reputable contractors who are available for recommendation and these builders are reviewed yearly to ensure the best possible service is provided to clients.

Our role is to assist older and disabled clients to remain in their homes with greater, comfort, independence and security. Our service is client led that is based on a visit to the older person's home. This visit will result in a personalised package of home improvement. The objective is to support the older person's choice to remain living in their own home and in their own community for as long as they are able and chose to do so.
