RCT Work and Skills offer support to all residents in RCT who are looking to get into employment, training or volunteering.

Over the past 16 months we have been using video messaging, phone calls and texts, to provide support to community members.

Our team of Mentors, Engagement Workers, Employment Liaison Officers and Work Club providers are working to support new and existing clients virtually
throughout the Pandemic and subsequent lockdowns.

We are also able to offer In-Work Support to those we support into work, as well as people who are on low incomes or are at risk of redundancy and looking to retrain, upskill or wanting to find alternative employment.

Each delivery area has its own team who deliver the programme
CfW+ is available across the whole of RCT and is split into 4 delivery areas
• Rhondda North (covers the Rhondda Fawr and Mid Rhondda areas, including Trealaw)
• Rhondda South (covers the Rhondda Fach, Porth, Tonyrefail and Gilfach Goch)
• Cynon (covers the Cynon Valley, Glyncoch and Ynysybwl)
• Taf (covers Rhydyfelin and Hawthorn, Pontypridd, Church Village and Llantrisant areas)
