I am Adya Agarwal, currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at University of South Wales. Originally from India but been settled in the United Arab Emirates for 23 years now. I have always been deeply passionate about psychology and mental health advocacy. My academic journey and prior work experience, including roles in child-focused psychological settings, have fueled a strong desire to contribute meaningfully through volunteer work.
I am particularly interested in initiatives that support mental wellness, child development, and community outreach. My strengths lie in effective communication, empathy, and adaptability skills that I continuously strive to refine both academically and through hands-on experiences.
Beyond academics, I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and music, all of which help me stay grounded and bring creativity into my work. Volunteering offers a meaningful way for me to give back to the community while further enriching my practical understanding of psychological concepts in diverse environments.
