Our work is about changing lives for the better. These Valleys now rank in some of the most deprived areas of Europe. Valleys Kids works alongside local people to improve the lives of children and families in these communities, helping people to help themselves.

Valleys Kids work across communities within the South Wales Valleys. We support and strengthen individuals, families and communities within the valleys through a variety of activities, initiatives and social enterprises. People will know and use our wide-ranging services for different reasons, but one thing will always remain true: We provide safe, non-judgemental, and empowering spaces for people of all ages to improve their sense of self, self-esteem, and quality of life. Poverty, deprivation, and urban degeneration are real issues we face in our corner of Wales. Despite the seemingly insurmountable challenges, we carry hope. Our slogan is ‘We are all Valleys Kids’. Valleys Kids are a cradle to grave service. Whether you’re a 7-year-old in our after-school club, a 17-year-old in our performing arts programme, a 35-year-old parent getting help to access services, or a 75-year-old who finds company in our art class, we are here to support you.
