A non profitable constituted tenant volunteer group creating an outdoor garden/space

We are a small constituted group of tenant volunteers that have become involved with our Landlords RHA Get involved team and took over a large fenced off garden area in august 2021 in the hopes of taking an unused overgrown area of space and bringing it back to life.

   With the support from RHA, Mens shed Treorchy/Treherbert,Cambrian Village Trust, Keep Wales Tidy & Local places for nature along with our local community we have started to create what we hope will be a bright beautiful area of  flowers natural wildlife areas where we will grow fruit and veg and be able to watch and learn the natural habitats for many of the fantastic wildlife we can find around our area whilst also creating a safe space for the children to play.

    This will also be exclusively open for all tenants children families and local community where they will be welcome to go and sit, play meet up meet new people and socialise again or just a natural space for people to go and take 5 minutes out in the outdoors with the quiet and nature which we all know is a massive help with those suffering mental health, something which many people struggled with over the course of the past 3 years with the Covid Pandemic.
