I am a passionate advocate for Mental Health awareness based on my own lived experiences. Although I'm unable to commit to working full time due to my own conditions, my own coping mechanisms mean that I 'spark joy' in creating graphic communications and helping people. I'm gaining confidence in recent engagement work that I've done over the last three years and happy to share my views and skills in an effort to bring a more co-productive community.
My areas of special interest in mental health includes:
- Suicide Prevention (member of several local and national forums)
- Childrens and Young Persons (early intervention and wellbeing education)
- Self Harm and Eating Disorders (awareness and support)
- Adult Primary and Secondary (care, treatment and access improvement)
Post covid, I hope to develop my own organisation (Mindarium) and create more lived experience publications and self-care packages.
