The Safer Wales Activity Assistant will help staff with the delivery of activities in the Safer Wales Centre on Castle Street Cardiff for a minimum of one day a week for approx 4 hours.
The role holder will also assist staff with helping clients who are attending a drop-in sessionto collect basic and essential needs.
Part of this role will be to assist with the facilitation of group sessions, assisting with assessments for accredited qualifications, and meeting and greeting our clients and helping to prepare activities beforehand.
We are also holding drop in sessions once a week to allow the vulnerable women who we support to access their basic and essential needs. Volunteers will work alongside staff but will be responsible to the Activities Centre Coordinator and the Volunteer Coordinator and Mentor.
- Help to prepare the facility for the days planned activities
- Meet and greet clients to prepare them for the activities
- Assist in the facilitation of the activities to the group(s)
- Assist in the assessments for accredited qualifications available to attendees.
