Building Community Resilience in the Face of Climate Change is a collaborative and interactive day designed to bring together organisations, community groups, and sector representatives across Rhondda Cynon Taf. Hosted by the RCT Climate Action Network in partnership with Natural Resources Wales and the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Public Services Board (CTM PSB), this event will explore how communities can prepare for and adapt to the impacts of climate change.
The event will provide a space to share knowledge, celebrate achievements, identify gaps, and explore future opportunities for support, collaboration, and action.
Morning Session: Building Resilient Communities
Facilitated by Cwmpas, the morning workshop invites you to share your experiences and insights from the communities you work with. Together we will:
-
Celebrate the projects and initiatives already making a difference
-
Share knowledge and practical approaches
-
Identify existing gaps and barriers
-
Discuss what support is needed to achieve future ambitions
This session links directly to the CTM Climate Change Risk Assessment and will help shape the focus of future workshops, events, and training opportunities, while informing the work of Natural Resources Wales and CTM PSB.
