About Sported:
Sported delivers expertise, resources and vital support to clubs and groups that use sport and physical activity to make a positive impact on young people - and on our communities – throughout Wales.
With practical insights and a knowledge of best practice, our team can work closely with you and your people to put together a bespoke package of support – at NO cost – that ensures your group is in good organisational health today – and in the long-term.
What we offer
Sported knows grassroots sport, right across Wales. We understand its ability to change the lives of young people and make a real difference in our communities. But we also understand the daily challenges that groups and their leaders face while being under-funded and under-resources – and the support that they desperately need.
Dealing with the day-to-day operational admin of facilities, timetables, staff and volunteers is just the start. There’s business planning and financial management. Generating cash to remain sustainable. Telling people about what you're doing and sharing your successes. Recruiting new members. Making sure you're compliant. Measuring impact and reporting. Being inclusive. Taking care of the environment.
We can help.
We inject practical support, access to funding and difference-making programmes, as well as skilled business consultants who can help you run more smoothly. And so much more. As a charity, our services are all free, thanks to partners such as Baillie Gifford, Garfield Weston and the National Lottery.
All so you can help more young people can get the opportunities they deserve and can overcome barriers to reach their full potential.
Becoming part of the Sported network will enable your club to have access to regular funding opportunities and additional support you may require. Please see this link about more information on Sported and to get your club part of the network:
