Breast cancer support group for Pontyclun & surrounding areas.
Join us and bring a friend for a friendly, confidential, supportive get-together. We support patients, carers and families. You don't know how strong we are until being strong is the only choice we have.
We're proud to celebrate our remarkable breast cancer support group that has been a pillar of strength and solidarity in our community for 18 years. The group was created to ensure that no one has to navigate the challenges of cancer alone. From it's humble beginnings, Bosom Pls has grown into a vibrant network of support, compassion and friendship.
Meeting on the first Wednesday of each month from 11am to 1pm at the Boards Head in Tyla Garw, members come together for a cuppa, a chat and mutual support. These gatherings often feature guest speakers, special events and activities designed to uplift and empower.
Beyond the monthly meetings, Bosom Pals actively engages in community events, fundraising and awareness campaigns. From organising fashion shows and theatre trips to participating in local initiatives like "Turning Blue" for Dementia Awareness, their impact resonates throughout Pontyclun and the surrounding areas.
Our dedication was nationally recognised when we were invited to the Queen's Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in 2018, a testament to their unwavering commitment to supporting those affected by breast cancer.
At the heart of Bosom Pals is a simple yet powerful message: sometimes, all it takes is a friendly smile, a listening ear, or a warm hug to make a world of difference.
