Community Mapping - Community Voice

I'm a member of a global community of local people who use the wiki-map OpenStreetMap to represent their views and needs to decision-makers and funding bodies. It's a way of 'counter-mapping' or guerrilla-mapping which is an alternative to 'top-down' google or government information. This information is generated by communities for communities. And it is owned by the community. Nobody else.
