Out of Work Service
Are you working with 16-24 year olds?
Platfform is now offering our outstanding Out of Work Service to 16 – 24 year olds. For the past five years our service has been successfully helping people in the Cwm Taf area. We work with people who are living with mental health challenges and/or in recovery from substance or alcohol use. We have helped people all over RCT and Merthyr to turn their lives around, improve their wellbeing and gain employment and volunteering positions.
What we can offer
- One to one mentoring from people with lived experience, tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Funding for any training courses that will help to gain employment – for example PTS and CSCS cards.
- Funding for PPE, work and interview clothing, and initial travel costs.
- Funding and support to get back into full time education.
- In house wellbeing and confidence courses.
- Referral to our talking therapy service Breathe UK
- A service backed by a proven successful track record.
If you are working with anyone aged between 16-24 who is not in education or full time employment, we would love to hear from you.
