Friends of Cwmclydach Country Park are a group of volunteers that look after the country park to make it a safe and welcoming place for visitors to enjoy.

This includes litterpicking, pathway maintenance, repairing fences, cutting back undergrowth and hedges, creating drainage channels, clearing invasive weeds, upkeep and improvements and working with other groups for the benefit of the country park and for the community.

The group is ideal for those with an interest in the outdoors, keeping fit, enjoying the nature surrounding us and the mental health benefits of getting outside and getting involved.

We welcome volunteers all year round, but please note that Winter is much quieter.

Through the Winter months we meet occasionally (weather permitting) to maintain the park, but in Spring / Summer there are always many volunteer activities which we would love your help with.

If you would like a friendly chat to see how you can get involved, please get in touch.
