Volunteer Administrators
As a Volunteer Administrator you will be based in the office of Age Connects Morgannwg in Cynon Linc, Aberdare. You will be part of the Central Support Team which deals with all the charity’s administration.
You may be working on our reception where you will be welcoming visitors, this might include clients who attend our Nail Cutting Clinic, people who have made appointments with our Information and Advice service, people coming in for meetings or people who simply want to know more of what help we can offer. You may be asked to do some filing and general administrative tasks, or by helping manage our team of volunteers. You could also answer the phone and take messages. You will not be asked to handle any money, or provide any advice or support to members of the public until training has been completed and your knowledge assessed. This is not an exhaustive list of your potential role, and you will be supported to do any of the tasks with training, though we advise that some previous Admin skills or experience is desired.
Your travel costs to and from the office will be reimbursed, if you are in the office for 5 hours we will reimburse your lunch costs up to the value of £3.50.
You will be warmly welcomed at our office in Cynon Linc during our office hours if you can provide just a few hours a week, or perhaps a half / full day.
