Come along to weekly volunteer sessions on Wednesday mornings or afternoons (or both!), at Parc Gwledig Cwm Dâr / Dare Valley Country Park
Just a couple of hours volunteering each week can make a huge difference to yourself, your community and the wildlife
Everyone is welcome! No past experience is needed: everything is provided, including hot drinks and refreshments
By signing up as a #CommunityNatureGuardian volunteer, you can:
- Support biodiversity
- Spend time outdoors, improving mental wellbeing
- Make new friends in your community
- Get some fresh air, away from screens
- Get physically active
- Learn new skills
- Learn more about nature
- Gain a satisfying sense of achievement and purpose
Activities during sessions include:
- Creating homes for wildlife
- Improving footpaths, improving accessibility to greenspaces
- Recording wildlife
- Removing invasive species
- Planting the right trees in the right places
Sessions start on Wednesday 22nd April, and will run 10am - 12:30pm and 1:30pm - 4pm.
