The Rhondda Fifty + Forum covers from Pentre in the Rhondda Fawr to Porth and the whole of the Rhondda Fach.
Pre-Covid we held quarterly meetings in the Ystrad OAP Hall in Ystrad, meetings included the provision of information relevant to our Forum and regular speakers. We currently hold meetings of the committee via Zoom and keep our members informed via newsletters.
We are looking for someone to become our Treasurer, a role description is below. The accounts are not complicated and anyone who has an interest will be warmly welcomed.

Treasurer: Role Description
Role Title: Treasurer
Reporting to: Forum Committee and Forum Meetings
Role Summary
The role of Treasurer is a voluntary position and duties will include:
- Keeping accurate financial records
- Reporting to the Forum Committee
- Providing an up-to-date financial report at Forum meetings
- Reporting Annual Accounts to the Forum AGM
Main Responsibilities of the Treasurer
- Manage the bank account
- Keep Income and Expenditure Records
- Preparing and reporting the Annual Accounts
- Always ensure financial probity
Requirements:
Essential
- Willingness to deal with electronic banking (full training and support will be given)
- Understanding of accounting procedures
- Ability to provide appropriate financial reports
- Willingness to participate in online meetings via Zoom (full training and support) will be given)
Time Commitment
- Committee meetings are held monthly, and Forum meetings are held quarterly
- Time to keep records up to date.
Location
- Forum meetings are held in Ystrad OAP Hall but are currently held via Zoom
