Dwylo Hapus is a New CIO Charity that has been set up to offer a childcare provision during the school holidays for children with additional learning needs.

About the Role
Dwylo Hapus is seeking a committed and experienced Responsible Individual (RI)/Manager and Deputy Playworker to lead our inclusive holiday club provision.
This is a rewarding leadership opportunity where you will ensure the service is safe, fully compliant with National Minimum Standards, to deliver the highest standard of care, while creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for children with Autism (ASD) and a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
You will play a key role in developing a stimulating and flexible play environment for children aged 5–15, while overseeing effective day to day management of the setting management and ensuring compliance with National Minimum Standards for Regulated Childcare in Wales.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the Responsible Individual in line with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations
· Oversee the day-to-day running of the holiday club
· Lead, support, and manage staff and volunteers (recruitment, staff rota’s, staff training, supervisions and appeals)
· Ensure a safe, inclusive, and child-centred environment at all times
· Plan and deliver engaging, accessible activities tailored to individual needs
· Maintain compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, an NMS standards
· Build positive relationships with parents/carers and be able to have work as part of a multi-agency team
· Maintain accurate records, policies, and required documentation
Essential Requirements
· Level 3 in Playwork
· Proven experience working with children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
· Have experience working with children with Individual Developmental Plans (IDPS) and understand how to plan for their needs
· Previous leadership or management experience in childcare/play work settings
· Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures in Wales
· Understanding of CIW regulations and the Role of the of Responsible Individual
· Knowledge of the ALN Code for Wales
· Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
· Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
· Level 5 Playwork qualification
· Have experience working towards registering a setting.
· Valid First Aid qualifications/Food Hygiene or Safeguarding Group C Training (willing to complete training if appointed)
· Additional training to support children and families with ALN
