Meet the Funder and Discover What Makes a Good Application
Learn how to have more funding success so your project blossoms. You’ll discover what funders are looking for in applications so they get approved. In addition to us, funders will be there including the Pen Y Cymoedd Community Wind Farm Fund, Coalfields Regeneration, and the Cranfield Trust. You will be likelier to win funding after learning:
  • from other participants’ funding experiences in workshops
  • what each funding opportunity supports and the type of group that can apply
  • what you need to put in place before applying
  • the processes for applying
  • the help available from The Cranfield Trust, the Pen Y Cymoedd Supporting Communities Team, and us
  • how to write more effective grant applications

We’ll review a case study that shows what the Supporting Communities Team offers groups. Also there’ll be a question and answer session with the funders. With direct access to funders at the event, you can form a relationship which could lead to further opportunities. You’ll have a chance to discuss your ideas with the Pen Y Cymoedd Team after the event too.
