Purpose
- To increase member engagement and support given
- To provide a regular connection between our network and Sported
- To move groups into relevant support or link up with the relevant people (this may be another volunteer)
Role Description
- You will be linked up with 3-5 groups from our network
- You will build a trusted relationship with each of your groups through regular communication. Recommended monthly but this can be flexible and determined by need of each group
- Communication mechanism is to be determined by you and the group as to what works best for them
- You will develop insight and understanding of the groups support needs, through regular conversation.
- You will report back once you have spoken with a member by inputting information into a spreadsheet to be held on Microsoft Teams
Person Specification
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a diverse range of people
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Computer literate (but not essential)
Training and support provided
- You will engage in regular catch ups with the Sported Development Officer for support
- Sported will provide training on how to use Microsoft Teams
- Sported will also provide training on the services available to members and how to carry out a kickstart call
Time commitment
- 5-6 hours per month and determined by you as to when you can spare the time
