The Community Events Team are responsible for arranging and managing events to raise money for the charity. This includes everything from sponsored events, raffles, or pub quizzes to larger events such as craft sales and themed evenings.
We also have bucket collections in public places such as supermarkets, shopping centres and train stations. Volunteers can help with holding buckets or handing out leaflets, or by dressing up as our charity mascot to further generate awareness and funding.
We also attend seasonal/craft fairs and information days, which require team members to run our fidget and sensory toy sales stalls and speak to members of the public about the charity and the services it provides.
