Understand trauma, behaviour and ACEs while learning trauma-informed approaches to better support children, young people and adults.
This ABC Trauma Training explores trauma theory and how the acceptance of a trauma model offers the potential for recovery.
The session enables delegates to understand that by exploring the behaviours that result from trauma, it is possible to recognise that it is often “what happened” to the child or young person that has led to coping strategies which can be destructive to the individual, family and society.
By being curious as individuals, we can facilitate a collaborative culture that promotes healing and autonomy.
