We are a support service for unpaid Carers in RCT
Are you a Carer?
A Carer is anyone who cares, unpaid (except for Carers Allowance) for a partner, family member or friend who, due to an illness, frailty, disability, mental health problem or addiction, cannot cope without their support. A Carer can be ANYONE of ANY age. Even if you don’t think of yourself in that way.
RCT Carers Project support unpaid Carers living in RCT or anyone caring for someone living in RCT. Being an unpaid Carer, although often done out of love, can take it’s toll emotionally, mentally and physically. RCT Carers Project is a service which acknowledges that carers need looking after too. We offer a wide range of support that gives carers some much needed time out from their caring role, gives Carers knowledge of organisations that can support both them and the people they care for and provides practical workshops to help carers in their caring roles.
